# Course Absences

The **Course Absences** screen displays student attendance details specific to individual courses, including the date and time of absence, and whether it was excused.

**To use this screen efficiently, do as follows:**

1. Click **Course Absences** to open the course-level attendance view.
2. Enter a **Course**, **Date**, or **Timeslot** in the filter fields to narrow down the results.
3. Click the **Search** button to apply your filters and display matching absence records.
4. Use **Rows**, **Export**, or **Customize columns** to control how the table appears or to download the data.
