# Daily Absences

The**Daily Absences** screen allows users to view and track daily student absences, including dates, comments, and excused status.

**To use this screen efficiently, do as follows:**

1. To view the daily attendance records, click **Daily Absences.**
2. In the filter fields, type the **date** and any remarks about the absence.
3. To properly filter the results, click the **Search** button.
4. You can control the way absence data is shown in the table by using **Rows**, **Export**, or **Customize columns.**
