Bus Supervisor Account.

-Bus Tracking Edits

Aim:

This improvement is regarding some bus tracking enhancements we need to add.

1. Firstly, is about some changes in the columns of the trip’s logs.
2. Secondly, we need to edit some columns in the students log table.
3. Thirdly, guardians will be able to notify bus supervisors about the absence of their children so that the bus supervisor has previous knowledge of the students’ absences from the bus trip.
4. Also, when students leave in the middle of the school time, bus supervisors must be notified so they have previous knowledge that the student will not be on the trip.
5. Fourth, Bus supervisors must be notified after a specific period that they haven’t ended the bus trip, so if they forgot, they remember to end it.

Access Path & How to Use:

A-Trips log report enhancements

On the trips log report existing on the:

• Admin’s account — side menu — bus tracking — Trips — more actions for any trip — trip log.
• Bus supervisor’s account — Side menu — Trips — more actions for any trip — Trip log.

B-Students log report enhancements

On the students log report existing on the:

• Admin’s account — side menu — bus tracking – more actions — Trips — Trip log — Students log.
• Bus supervisor’s account — side menu — Trips — Trip log — Students log.

C-Bus Supervisors being notified about absences from trips

• When a student is absent or has a leave in the middle of the school time, his/her bus supervisor must be notified about it.
• So, on the guardian’s account — side menu — bus trips — actions column.
• A new action called “Absent from the Trip for Today” will be added.
• Also Leave requests, when there is a leave request that is approved by the permission officer Or manager, the bus supervisor should be notified.

D-Bus supervisor being notified that the trip is still active

Because sometimes, bus supervisors forget to end the trip through the system.

Bus supervisors should be notified after 1 hour of the trip’s end time that the trip is still active.
